Our Most Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I have some improv experience. Can I skip your 101 level course?
A: No, you cannot. In our 101 course students don’t just learn the fundamentals of improv – they learn to perform like a ComedySportz player. We teach the basics of “Yes And” through specific games and techniques that make ComedySportz unique from other improv shows, and that make ComedySportz players a different sort of improviser.
Q: The class I want to sign up for says "Sold-Out". Can you squeeze me in?
A: Sorry, we cannot. You can be added to the waitlist by emailing our Education Director at dave@cszseattle.com. Or you can sign up for a future date. In the meantime, to start your improv journey, we recommend attending a drop-in improv jam, which is great for all levels, from no experience to seasoned improv vets.
Refund Policy
Purchases are final and refunds/partial refunds are not issued. With advance notice, students may transfer their class registrations to a different course, provided the alternate course is not already sold-out. With advance notice, students may also transfer the value of their registration to a gift card, redeemable for anything else available to purchase on CSzSeattle.com.
Attendance Policy
Be sure to check the dates of the class. If you know you will need to miss more than two classes, we do not recommend signing up for that session. Students who miss more than two classes cannot advance to the next level or perform in the showcase.
